Dr. Jose N. Rodriguez Memorial Hospital and Sanitarium (DJNRMHS) in Tala, Caloocan City places strong emphasis on maternal and infant care, including the promotion of breastfeeding, and is set to operate its own human milk bank.

This is supported by reports of staff milk donations and Department of Health initiatives promoting such facilities. As a major DOH referral center—particularly for dermatology—the hospital also provides comprehensive healthcare services and medical training. For updated details on milk bank access or donation procedures, the public is advised to check the hospital’s official channels.

Western Visayas Medical Center

Location: Mandurriao, Iloilo City

The Human Milk Bank Facility of Western Visayas Medical Center recruits and carefully screens mothers who wish to donate their surplus breastmilk.

The facility provides safe, pasteurized donor human milk to NICU inpatients and to partner hospitals. This donor milk is given to infants whose own mothers are unable to produce sufficient milk, most often babies born prematurely or with serious medical conditions.

In addition, the Human Milk Bank supports ethically funded research focused on understanding the benefits of breastfeeding for both mothers and infants. It also seeks to deepen knowledge of the complex properties of human milk and its impact on neonatal outcomes in both NICU settings and the wider community.
